Job Description

Summary:

The Project Manager is responsible for full lifecycle IT project management of multiple concurrent technology projects for internal SageNet customers that cover Sales, Finance, Network Operations, etc. The project portfolio consists of IT Infrastructure and software development implementations in support of SageNet. The project manager should have excellent collaborative and communications skills, have a strong understanding of client needs, work well in a cross-functional team environment and be results-oriented. The PM will interface with stakeholders, IT resources, and the business to deliver projects on time, in scope, and within budget.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support IT infrastructure and applications projects
  • Utilize technically sound methods of investigation, analysis, design, planning, and scheduling, adhering to the IT methodologies and conventions
  • Manage and monitor project budget, scope, schedule, progress, and risks
  • Establish and facilitate ongoing reviews of scope, resources, schedule, and budget
  • Manage stakeholder engagement and expectations during the lifecycle of the project
  • Integrate work-plan maintenance and monitoring
  • Perform issues and risk management, tracking, prioritization, resolution facilitation, reporting, and trending analysis
  • Create, administer, and maintain project plans and documentation plus portfolio reporting
  • Participate in the review of test cases supporting efforts assigned; ensure IT teams create usable unit tests to enable superior automated test coverage

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a Technical Project Manager role
  • Strong background and experience with IT infrastructure and software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Proficiency in office automation tools such as MS Office, Project and Visio
  • PMP Certification is a plus, however not required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Business Finance, or closely related field preferred
