Job Description


Provisioning broadband circuits is core to SageNet’s business. Provisioners are responsible for managing broadband service orders to completion in a timely, accurate manner.  When an order is assigned to them the Provisioner contacts the provider to place an order based on requirements defined and maintained by the Account/Project Manager or as directed by the Provisioning Manager. The order is updated on a regular basis until the provider indicates it is complete.  At that point the Provisioner contacts the site to verify the status and closes out the order when all necessary information is confirmed.



  • Manage orders throughout the process
  • Research broadband availability at customer locations
  • Ensure information is clear and correct prior to placing order with provider
  • Research previous orders for customer/provider if needed to determine correct service
  • Work effectively and efficiently with the provider when placing orders
  • Ensure vendor pricing parameters are in line with pre-qualification expectations
  • Keep end user appraised of progress and set expectations
  • Update orders per SLA’s set for each task
  • Reach out to Account/Project Manager for clarification as needed
  • Complete all required fields in SAP prior to closing order

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Self-directed; ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to balance multiple issues at same time
  • Persuasiveness to gain assistance from end user and provider contacts
  • Strong attention to detail; commitment to accuracy and detail
  • Technical aptitude to understand service and provider nuances (i.e. IP addresses, modem settings, etc.)
  • Internet-savvy; confident in searching for information using Google and other web-based tools the job provides
  • Previous Telecom experience (preferably broadband)


Education Required: 

  • Associate's Degree Required
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
